As we continue in this tough season I have become aware that the men in our churches are often overlooked. Men don’t find it easy to wear their hearts on their sleeves and many are struggling. In particular men are in need of 2 things;

  • encouragement to keep going, and
  • challenge to emerge from all of this as godly men, better able to lead their families and churches.

MENS NIGHT

THEME:   BEING GODLY MEN IN THE PANDEMIC - AND BEYOND!

Thursday 3rd December 2020 from 8.00pm – 9.15pm

We hope to spend a little time thinking about being godly men as we emerge from the pandemic

In particular what are the practices we should adopt?

I’m delighted that we have been able to secure an interview with Kent Hughes who wrote the book “Disciplines of a Godly Man” and who was to be our guest speaker at our (sadly postponed) 125th anniversary night last October.

Several other men from our churches will take part and hopefully it will be a memorable, encouraging and challenging night.

This is open to all men so could I ask you to spread the word widely and also encourage the men in your churches to go online that night?

Bless you for all you are doing in these tough days
